From Seattle to Anchorage by Car

Oofta. 2,400 miles sure does sound like a lot.
Starting on May 28th I will be embarking on a journey I’ve always wanted to do: driving from Seattle to Anchorage along the Alcan Highway. I couldn’t think of a better way to mentally prep before the fishing season and slowly meander my way to Alaska.
I am driving with my friend Jeff and we plan on taking five or six days on the way up. We are going to buy a Milepost, what many refer to as the Bible of driving to Alaska. We’ve heard about amazing hot springs and dive bars that cannot be missed and we fully plan on giving ourselves enough time to enjoy, and possibly recover, from all the activities.
