In the world famous Sitka Herring Fishery, 50 of the most highly experienced fishermen go head to head for their million dollar catches of herring. Next to Deadliest Catch, this makes for one of the most high stake and lucrative competitive fisheries in the world. I had the opportunity to interview a few of these captains to hear what this fishery means from their perspective.
