Alaska Waypoints: Welcome New Commercial Fishing Site

It is so refreshing to see a site like Alaska Waypoints launch. I believe every commercial fisherman will say the same.

Sierra and I have never aimed to act as an online news source; and frankly, we’re glad someone did!! Our hope is to present authentic, first-hand Alaskan experiences to the best of our abilities. We’ve added some amazing contributors like Sean Ruddy, Mark Muha and Jeff Sword. All of our posts feature beautiful photography and we’ve gained  some quality camera skills. Sean reaches throughout the Kenai Peninsula, Jeff is bombing down the Alyeska slopes and Mark is the greenhorn many hopefuls want to be.

Alaska Waypoints fills a void. A place where commercial fishermen, and anyone that has a stake in the industry (almost all Alaskans), can read up-to-the-minute news about what is going on. Keep visiting The Real Alaska to understand and visualize the interesting lifestyles, including commercial fishing, that adventurous Alaskans do. Go to Waypoints to read about The Pebble Mine, ADF&G predictions and the effects of the Japanese tsunami on seafood prices.
