This album will be posted soon! Sitka is one of the most historic and beautiful places in Alaska or the world. The scenery and nature is incredible. It is also home of some of the best whale watching. When we weren't herring fishing in Sitka my sister and I would explore new areas, by both land and air.

My Sandbox (43 photos)

Chignik is a small fishing village of about 50 to 100 people located off the Alaskan Peninsula. It's broken up into 3 small areas. Chignik Bay, Chignik Lagoon, and Chignik Lakes. This Album is a montage of pictures from both the Bay and the Lagoon where I spent many summers fishing with my pops. We had very little time on land but this is a taste of what it looked like when we were not fishing.

Life on a commercial fishing boat comes with many twists and turns. It's a journey of unknowns. This is a continuation of the Chignik 2010 Salmon Season aboard the F/V Memry Anne.
